Simple sleep — Privacy policy

Simple sleep is a sleep-sound app for Android and iPhone, made by Pro Vision Services LLC (Fairbury, Illinois). It is designed to collect as little as possible.
What the app stores
- On Android: a device identifier and a timestamp. To make the 24-hour free trial work across reinstalls, the app sends your device's Android ID to our server (Google Firebase) the first time it runs, where it is stored with the date and time of that first run. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information, and it is used for nothing else.
- On iPhone: no device identifier. The 24-hour free trial is timed on the phone itself, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.
- Your settings. Volume and stop time are saved on your device only and never leave it.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by Google Play on Android or the App Store on iPhone. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and restore them on reinstall. RevenueCat gives the installation a random anonymous identifier that is not linked to your name, email or account. We never see your payment details.
What the app does not do
- No ads, and no advertising identifiers. The app never asks to track you.
- No analytics or tracking.
- No account, no email, no personal information collected.
- No data is sold, or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
- Audio plays from files inside the app — nothing is streamed or recorded.
Who else handles your data
Google Firebase stores the Android trial record and RevenueCat stores purchase records, both on our behalf and only for the purposes above. Any service provider that receives this data must give it the same or equal protection as this policy. Payments themselves are handled by Google Play or Apple under their own privacy policies.
Keeping and deleting your data
The Android trial record and the purchase record are kept until you ask us to delete them. To have either deleted, email support@provision.services. Deleting the purchase record also removes our ability to restore your unlock.
You can withdraw consent at any time: uninstall the app and nothing more is sent, then email us to have your records deleted.
