Pipefitter Offset Calculator — Privacy policy

Pipefitter Offset Calculator works out pipe offsets — travel, run and the
finished cut length after fitting take-offs and weld gaps — and is made by
Pro Vision Services LLC (Fairbury, Illinois). It is designed to collect as
little as possible. There is no account, no login, and no email address is ever
asked for.
What stays on your device
- Your last cut. The set, run and roll you typed are saved
on the phone so a half-entered calculation survives the app being closed.
This never leaves your device.
- Your setup. Fitting angle, pipe size, elbow type, joint
type, the gap for each joint type, and the fraction precision you work to are
stored on the device only.
- Your preferences. Whether the screen should stay awake
while an answer is showing.
- How many free cuts you have used. A count, stored on the
device, so the app knows when the ten free cuts are spent. Reinstalling the
app resets that count, which is deliberate.
- Whether you have unlocked the cut length. Stored on the
device so the feature keeps working with no signal.
What leaves your device
- An anonymous purchase identifier. To sell and restore the
one-time unlock, the app uses RevenueCat, which assigns a random anonymous
identifier to the installation. It is not your name, email, phone number or
Google account, and it is not linked to any of them. It exists so that a
purchase can be restored if you reinstall or change phones.
- Purchase records. Google Play processes the payment and
tells RevenueCat whether it succeeded, so the app knows to unlock the feature.
We never see your card or payment details.
Sending a cut to someone
When you share a cut it is sent as plain text, built on your phone from the
numbers you typed, so that it survives being pasted into a text message.
Android's own share sheet sends it wherever you choose — a message, an email, a
notes app. That destination is your choice, and the text never passes through
our servers.
What the app does not do
- No ads, and no advertising identifier. The app does not request the
Android advertising ID at all.
- No analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting.
- No account, no sign-in, no email address collected.
- No location, camera, microphone, contacts or files on your phone. The app
requests no Android runtime permissions of any kind. Keeping the screen awake
is a window setting, not a permission.
- Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Children
This is a tool for pipefitters and steamfitters laying out pipe. It is not
directed at children and collects nothing that could identify one.
Data deletion
Everything the app stores about your work lives on your phone; uninstalling
the app deletes it. To have the anonymous purchase record deleted, email
support@provision.services and
say which app you mean. Note that deleting the purchase record also removes our
ability to restore your unlock.
